The Carrollton Rangers and Easton Caterpillars rewarded fans hoping for a nail-biter.

The Carrollton Rangers needed 10 innings to defeat the Easton Caterpillars, 14-13, at Rangers Field. Carrollton designated hitter Yong-chik Byun had a superb performance. He was 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5. Easton's current losing streak is now 7 games.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Carrollton right fielder Adam Gibson, facing Carlos Luera, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Rangers the 14-13 win.

"Our team found a way to get it done," said Gibson.
