Peaches Win League Championship Series
It was a rousing finish to the League Championship Series at Classified Field today.

The Savannah Peaches sent the Rosewell Tribbles home for the season with a 19-8 win in the decisive game of the series.

The Peaches took the series 4-3. Up next on their schedule is the Rookie League Championship.

Hauling in the MVP trophy was Savannah left fielder Aaron Rowe. His numbers included a .625 batting average, 15 RBIs and 10 runs.

"With any luck, I'll be hoisting another one of these at the end of the Rookie League Championship," he said.

The Savannah Peaches will play against the Sylva Miners in the next round. Sylva won their series against the Prince George Cougars 4 games to 0. The Rookie League Championship schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
