Harrison Blasts Peaches, Tribbles Take Game 3, 8-4
|
With pinch hitter Joe Harrison leading the charge, the Rosewell Tribbles got a road win over the Savannah Peaches, 8-4, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. Harrison went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once at Martin Field to help Rosewell take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.
Harrison had a consequential at-bat in the top of the second for the Tribbles. Coming up with the bases loaded and Rosewell trailing 1-0, he hit a grand slam home run.
"I like our moxie," said Tribbles manager Leonel Alba.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Martin Field in Savannah.
