The Rookie League Championship is tied at 2 games apiece, thanks to a dramatic walk-off victory at The Back Draft for the Prince George Cougars.

19-year-old center fielder Lupe Bermudez was the star for Prince George, as he was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 in the The Back Draft contest. The 4-3 Prince George triumph allowed the team to even the best-of-7 series with the Savannah Peaches at 2-2.

Eddie Wooldridge was the walk-off hero for Prince George. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cougars first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a good day but I'm not letting my guard down," Wooldridge said. "I'll let my guard down as soon as someone puts a big, fat championship ring on my finger."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Back Draft in Prince George.
