Win Goes to Revenge in Tight Contest
|
The Revenge grabbed a win, 4-2, at The Drunken Wench Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Rockville pitcher Moises Robledo. Robledo went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. The Revenge, at 68-68, sit in 4th place in the RCL R Tony Fernandez Division.
Barbados got a knockout punch from Ricardo Ortiz. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"It's great when the crowd is energized," Ortiz said.
