Frontier Wild Card Round Game 1 Victory for Della Camera and New York
The New York Boulders started the Frontier Wild Card Round in style today, downing the visiting Florence Y'alls at Ballpark of Indianapolis by a score of 5-3 to stake an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Boulders right-hander Greg Della Camera was named player of the game after he threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball.

Tom Little helped out the New York cause in the bottom of the second inning with a 2-run triple. For the game, the left fielder went 1-4 with a triple. He drove in 2 runs.

"You never want to start a series with a loss, but I saw a lot of good things today," Y'alls manager Ruben Lampman said. "I'm not worrying. Yet."

Game 2 is set to be played tomorrow. The scheduled starters for the game are Rocky Rasey for Florence and Jon Wood for New York.
