The Savannah Peaches and Sedona Sabercats played an exciting game.
The Savannah Peaches converted a terrific effort from starter Sal Santiago into a win over the Sedona Sabercats at The Lair at Sabercat Field. The Peaches won the game by a final score of 4-2. The win went to Jorge Ramirez in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jose Valdez took the loss.
Roberto Gonzales had a direct impact on the outcome. Gonzales contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the ninth inning to put Savannah up, 4-2.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Santiago.
With the win, Savannah upped its record to 75-56.
