Led by Kevin Sargent, the Oconto Falls Timbers defeated the Normal Nutcrackers, 7-4. Sargent went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Timbers. Oconto Falls pitcher Felix Samano got the win, upping his record to 5-2. Estevan Mendoza got the loss. Alex de Jesus notched his 20th save in 22 chances.

Luis Silva provided a timely hit. The Oconto Falls right fielder delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Timbers on top, 7-4. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Oconto Falls manager .

The second-place Timbers have won 4 in a row.
