Victory Over Storm Takes Yuma to 40-22
The 7-3 Yuma win over Wichita was due largely to Casey Price. The Varmits pinch hitter was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Mitchell Watson, 2-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.2 innings. With the win over Wichita, the Varmits improved to 40-22.

Price had a game-changing home run in the top of the seventh. On a first pitch fastball from Juan Guerrero, he banged a grand slam home run to center, giving the Varmits a 6-3 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Price.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Price told the Yuma Herald.
