Busse Lifts Peaches to 10-6 Win
The performance of Will Busse proved critical in helping Savannah beat Cooperstown, 10-6. The Peaches center fielder was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The loss makes Cooperstown 42-18.

The Legends had been locked in a 6-6 tie with the Peaches going into the bottom of the eighth inning. That changed quickly when the 17-year old shortstop Joe White came to the plate. White hit a run-scoring triple on a 1-1 slider from Cooperstown hurler Jose de Hoyos. It was White's 3rd triple of the year.

After the game, White refused to speak to a reporter for the Savannah Gazette. "You've accused me of throwing teammates under the bus," he said. "So, excuse me if I decline to answer your questions."
