Clearlake Decked by Dobrinski, Tribbles
|
A 7-RBI performance from the 21-year old third baseman Brian Dobrinski helped the Rosewell Tribbles beat the Clearlake Captains, 13-1. Abraham Jimenez, the winner, improved to 11-0. He held the Captains to no earned runs on 5 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 10 and walking 0. Rosewell has now won 8 straight.
Momentum swung to the Tribbles in the bottom of the first, when Dobrinski, who is tied for 4th in the TR in extra base hits with 37, hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Tribbles into the lead, 3-0.
