Buffalo center fielder Danny Pellot made his presence felt in the 5-3 Bison triumph over the Montreal Jazz. Pellot went 2-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Jake Nulty got the win, improving to 5-1. He held the Jazz to 2 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Buffalo, at 43-40, sits in 4th place in the Thurman Munson League Tim Ervin Division.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Pellot hit a solo home run off Jason Jensen. It propelled the Bison into the lead, 3-2.

In comments to the Buffalo News, Pellot insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
