Lopez Hits 2 home runs in Timbers Win
The Oconto Falls Timbers used the hitting of first baseman Francisco Lopez to subdue the Coronado Islanders, 7-4. For the game, Lopez slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Oconto Falls reliever Juan Gonzales picked up the win to move to 3-3. Antonio Ramirez suffered the loss. The third-place Islanders now sit at 72-57.

Sergio Pereyra came through with a big-time hit for Oconto Falls. The second baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"The most important thing is that we won," Pereyra said.
