Rangers Earn Late 8-7 Win
Savannah shortstop Joe White had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. White hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice, even as Carrollton beat the Peaches, 8-7. Carrollton reliever Joel Cruz picked up the win, upping his record to 1-4. Jay Ocker took the loss. With the win over Savannah, the Rangers improved to 25-33.

Carlos Ruiz was the walk-off hero for Carrollton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rangers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Savannah manager David Flecha. "But we decided not to take it."
