In a low-scoring game between Wichita and Carrollton, pitcher Andy Banuelos was excellent. The Wichita right-hander helped his team knock off the Rangers, 2-1. Luis Acosta got credit for the save for Wichita. It was his 1st of the year. The win gives the Storm a record of 17-39.
Wichita starter Andy Banuelos was dynamite. The 6-foot-4 right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 9 innings.
