Scott Pientka left his imprint on the 7-3 The Stinging win against the Sedona Sabercats. Pientka, who is tied for 2nd in the TR in doubles with 20, went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The Stinging reliever Carlos Rico picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Andres Najera took the loss. Cesar Romo notched his 4th save in 4 chances.
Alejandro Medrano was vital part of the The Stinging win. He went 1 for 5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the top of the seventh with two out, Medrano hit a 2-run double. It made the score 5-3, in favor of the Larvae.
