Sabercats Rough Up Storm, 9-1
|
Behind a solid performance from left fielder Mike O'Neill, the Sedona Sabercats defeated the Wichita Storm, 9-1. O'Neill hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for the Sabercats. The winning pitcher was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Susumu Kimura. He tossed 94 pitches over 5 innings, allowing 1 run on 1 hit. Wichita is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 13 games.
