Storm Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Wichita Storm did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Victoria Totems at Royal Athletic Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Douglas Seddon, who captured player of the game honors. Wichita reliever Jimmy Ward picked up the win, bumping his record to 6-6. Joe Achbar was collared with the loss. The first-place Storm now have a 5-game winning streak.

Runs were scarce in this one. So, Willis Hernandes's at-bat in the top of the 11th was vitally important. With two out, the Wichita catcher hit a 2-run home run, to give his team a 4-2 lead.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Wichita manager Francisco Solano.
