Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Fighting Iguanas
Boca Raton designated hitter Tom Espinoza made his presence felt in the 6-3 Fighting Iguanas triumph over the St. Paul Grognards. Espinoza was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Boca Raton reliever Alejandro Rojas picked up the win to move to 1-1. Lorenzo Ramirez suffered the loss. Even with the win, the Fighting Iguanas have a dismal 28-53 record.

Espinoza came through with some timely hitting for Boca Raton. With the score 3-3 in the bottom of the tenth and two down, Espinoza hit a 1-1 fastball for a 3-run home run. His 6th home run of the season made it 6-3, Boca Raton.

Espinoza told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
