The 3-hit performance of Nate Perlson helped the El Paso Mavericks beat the Eureka Hornets, 4-1. Malik Combs was the winner. He's now 7-6. The loser was 25-year old right-handed pitcher Ezedine Adegoke. El Paso is now 45-53.

Early in the game, Perlson had a run-scoring double for El Paso. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Mavericks on top, 1-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Perlson.
