The Paradise Island Pirates got production from their entire lineup in an easy 13-1 win over the Sedona Sabercats. Doing his part was catcher Gerardo Castillo. Castillo, who is tied for 9th in the TR in home runs with 20, slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The Pirates now have a mark of 86-36.

With Paradise Island leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Castillo came up to bat against Sedona pitcher Phil Clark. Castillo hit a fastball to left for a 2-run home run. His 20th home run of the season put the Pirates on top, 3-0.

"I had some good swings out there," said Castillo.
