Padilla Delivers Walk-Off Win for Larvae
The The Stinging Larvae weathered a fine game by Paradise Island left fielder German Silva to upend the Pirates, 8-5, at The Queen. Silva was 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. The last-place Larvae own a record of 12-37.

The decisive blow was delivered by Tony Padilla in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Willie Garcia to win the game for The Stinging. The home crowd went nuts.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Padilla told reporters after the game.
