Rangers Get Dramatic 2-1 Win
The bats were silent much of the day at Rangers Field. But 19-year old first baseman Bill Gibson produced just enough offense to carry the Rangers past the Thunder Bay Lighting, 2-1. Gibson went 2-3 with 2 singles and 2 walks. Carrollton reliever Ted Owens snagged the win, upping his record to 2-1. Tony Senquiz shouldered the loss. Carrollton goes to 65-54, Thunder Bay to 72-50.

Adam Gibson was the walk-off hero for Carrollton. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rangers right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I do my best to contribute," said Gibson.
