Santiago Deals Wichita 3-1 Setback
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Victoria Totems and Wichita Storm.
In a well-pitched game between the Victoria Totems and the Wichita Storm, pitcher Eduardo Santiago was fantastic. The Victoria right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Tommy Jonas earned the save for Victoria, his 2nd.
Santiago, who leaned on his changeup, allowed 1 run on just 2 hits over 7 innings for the Totems. For the most part, Wichita hitters were simply overmatched.
"We had trouble making good contact against Eduardo," said Wichita manager Daniel Carrasco.
The Totems improved to 19-25.
