Islanders Lose By a Run at Sedona
Sedona beat Coronado at The Lair at Sabercat Field, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to catcher Pedro Marquez. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Sabercats saw their record improve to 47-72.

With Sedona trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Marquez hit a fastball from Miguel Perez for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Sabercats ahead, 5-3.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Marquez told the Sedona Citizen.
