The The Stinging Larvae handed the Victoria Totems a loss at The Queen. The final score was 9-7. Major production was provided by Kyle Schultz for The Stinging. John Spencer had a big grand slam home run for the Larvae in the bottom of the fifth inning. With The Stinging trailing 6-3 and the bases loaded, he sized up a splitter from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Ramirez and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Larvae on top, 7-6.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Spencer told the The Stinging Chronicle.
