Marauders Rebuff Millers, 4-2

Nate Chambers had a good game, but he could not keep the Milwaukee Millers from falling, 4-2, to the Maple Marauders at The Mandalore Complex. The Milwaukee center fielder was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once in the loss. With the win over Milwaukee, the Marauders improved to 42-54.
Maple used a well-timed hit by Mike Flemming to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Marauders ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.
"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said Maple skipper Yen-nien Zhou.
