Jason Chard was a vital contributor to the 21-13 Sedona victory over Paradise Island. The Sabercats third baseman hit 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 6. Teddy Brooks earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 6 runs on 5 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-2.

Sedona used the hitting of Chan-koo Lee to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Sabercats on top, 21-7. For the game, Lee had 1 home run and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.

"Winning is a habit we don't want to break," said Chard.
