St. Paul starter Luis Salgado pitched effectively against the Yuma Varmits at The Range. The right-hander led his team to a 5-2 win. Salgado, now 4-3, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 2 earned runs. Lorenzo Ramirez closed it out for his 15th save.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- few are -- the fans who filled the stands at The Range seemed to enjoy watching the TMLR action.
