The Victoria Totems took it on the chin, losing, 10-2, to the Savannah Peaches. Jose Vargas pitched a strong game for Savannah. Reliever Mike Sewell picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. Eduardo Santiago took the loss. The first-place Peaches have a record of 22-9.

Savannah relied on the hitting of Brian Owen to pick up the win. The second baseman ripped a bases-clearing triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Peaches on top, 6-2. For the game, Owen had 1 triple and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
