Boosted by the 4-hit performance of Will Busse, who is tied for 5th in the TR in doubles with 7, the Savannah Peaches defeated the Victoria Totems, 9-2. Willie Oropeza wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save. The losing streak for Victoria has now reached 4 games.

The Totems had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Peaches going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old second baseman Charles Cohen came to the plate. Cohen hit a 2-run double on a 1-2 sinker from Victoria hurler German Pineda. It was Cohen's 3rd double of the year.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Cohen.
