Riding the 3-hit performance of the 18-year old shortstop Lachlan Hutchence, the Frobisher Bay Caribou defeated the Brooklyn Cyclones, 7-1. The RCL R John Mayberry Division-leading Caribou are 82-28.

With Frobisher Bay leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Hutchence hit a splitter from Mario Romero for a 3-run home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Caribou ahead, 5-0.
