Pirates Get Dramatic 6-4 Win
Predator Park played host to some real drama.

The Paradise Island Pirates picked up a win, 6-4, over the Normal Nutcrackers at Predator Park. Gerardo Castillo led the charge. The Havana, La Habana native went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Paradise Island. Paradise Island has now won 6 in a row.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Paradise Island trailing 4-3, Castillo jumped on a fastball from 18-year old right-handed pitcher Tony Amaro and hit a 3-run home run to right. With one swing, the Pirates had a walk-off win.

"This wasn't a good win," said Castillo. "It was a great win."
