Montreal center fielder Alex Najera had a big day at The Storm Center against the Wichita Storm. The 20-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led to the 30-2 Cardinals triumph over Wichita.

"Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Najera said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all."

Alex Najera flied out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Arturo Ledezma in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jon Barajas in the 7th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.

For the year, Najera is batting .403 with 35 home runs.
