The Paradise Island Pirates scored a convincing win at Predator Park, defeating the Rosewell Tribbles, 14-0. One of the hitting stars was Sean Russo, who is tied for 3rd in the TR with a .664 slugging percentage, who was 3-3 with a home run, a triple, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. The loss makes Rosewell 68-37.

Masanobu Ohashi had a big grand slam home run for the Pirates in the bottom of the third inning. With Paradise Island leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Alfonso Garcia and punished it. The result was his 17th home run of the season, which put the Pirates on top, 7-0.

Said losing manager Leonel Alba: "We just didn't get it done tonight."
