Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Victoria Totems and Paradise Island Pirates.

Victoria right-hander Shoitsu Nakashima pitched his team to victory over the Paradise Island Pirates at Royal Athletic Park. The final score was 6-3. The winner was Nakashima. He threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Juan Munoz. Justin Jacobson recorded the save, his 1st.

Victoria went up, 6-3, on Oscar Romo's 14th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Romo hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Paradise Island pitcher Juan Munoz shaking his head.
