Baugh Pops Two Homers in 11-9 Win for Coronado
Runs were plentiful at Rangers Field.

In a high-scoring contest between Coronado and Carrollton, third baseman Mike Baugh was a difference-maker. Baugh distinguished himself in the 11-9 Coronado win. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. Tony Acosta was the winner in relief. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Joel Cruz. Picking up the save was 17-year old left-handed pitcher Jeff Gamble.

In the top of the sixth, the Islanders grabbed the lead when Baugh hit his 3rd home run of the season. The grand slam home run off Joel Cruz made it 8-5, Coronado.

"This game had a little bit of everything," said Baugh.

The win gives Coronado a record of 4-3.
