Holloway Plays Big Role in Paradise Island Win
|
In a low-scoring contest, Paradise Island pitcher Kenny Holloway was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-0 win. Caleb Brickhouse sewed up the save, his 2nd. With the loss, Montreal drops to 1-6.
Holloway earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Paradise Island. The native of Annandale, Virginia, allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 7. Montreal hitters did next to nothing against the right-hander.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Paradise Island manager Jorge Ávila. "It's usually not just one thing."
