Velazques goes 3-for-5 in Totems Win
A 5-RBI performance from Ricky Velazques, who is tied for 2nd in the TR in total bases with 203, helped the Victoria Totems beat the Yuma Varmits, 7-6. Bobby Whittemore earned the save for Victoria, his 3rd. Victoria is now 65-29, Yuma 46-48.

With Victoria trailing 6-3 in the bottom of the eighth, Velazques hit a fastball from Victor Vasquez for a grand slam home run. It was his 21st home run of the season and put the Totems ahead, 7-6.

"It wasn't a pretty victory," said Velazques, "but we got it done."
