The 7-1 Caribbean win over Easton was due largely to Steve Dobson. The Commies third baseman went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 4 walks. The Commies sport a record of 35-60.
In the top of the fourth, with the bases loaded, Dobson came to the plate. He drew a walk, driving in 1 run off Jose Molinar to put the Commies in the lead, 2-1.
Dobson told a Caribbean News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
