Luis Molina of the Barbados Revenge was on top of his game.

The 19-year-old tantalized the Boca Raton Fighting Iguanas with crisp curves and changeups, mixed in with just enough fastballs to keep the batters honest, shutting them out, 2-0.

"He had the changeup working," Boca Raton manager Tomohiro Harada said in postgame comments. "You knew it was coming and you still grounded out -- and then he threw it even slower."

The Barbados hurler had 15 strikeouts, gave up 3 walks and surrendered 3 hits in his complete-game effort.

Molina told reporters after the game that "keeping the ball down is the key to being successful in this league."

"If you don't do that, they'll make you pay," he said.

This season, Molina has a 12-3 mark in 20 starts with a 2.29 ERA. He has given up 132 hits in 165 innings, struck out 194 and issued 64 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .224 batting average against him.
