Another game, another loss for the struggling Easton Caterpillars.

The Brooklyn Cyclones defeated the Easton Caterpillars, 11-0, at The Lava Flow. Leading the charge for Brooklyn was first baseman Forrest Backstrom. He was 1-2 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 and driving in 5. Miguel Garcia earned the win. Ju-long Pian took the loss for Easton.

With Brooklyn leading 3-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Backstrom hit a slider from Carlos Rodriguez for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Cyclones ahead, 7-0.

"If it can go wrong, it will go wrong," said Mekonnen Asani, the Easton manager.

The losses continue to pile up for Easton, which has now fallen 13 times in a row.
