Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Caribbean Commies and the Prince George Cougars. Caribbean won it, 3-1. Caribbean starter Oscar Aviles was in command. Caribbean, at 34-51, occupies 5th place in the RCL R John Mayberry Division.
Caribbean used the hitting of Marcos Gomez to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Commies on top, 2-1. For the game, Gomez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
