Gustafson, Timbers Beat Caterpillars Like Rented Mule
The Oconto Falls Timbers pounded the Easton Caterpillars, 20-0, at The Cove. Oconto Falls left fielder Tucker Gustafson had a solid game. He went 4 for 6 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for the Timbers. Carlos Rotiz picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-2. He struck out 8 in 6 innings. Picking up his 1st save was 20-year old right-handed pitcher Felix Samano.

Oconto Falls center fielder Kevin Sargent contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right-center field for a 2-run double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Timbers ahead, 10-0.

"We didn't get the results that we wanted," said Easton skipper Mekonnen Asani.

After today's action, Oconto Falls sits at 54-35; Easton slips to 9-79.
