Blazers Edge Bison, 3-2

The first-place Bloomington Blazers picked up another win.
In a close game at Arson Arena, the Bloomington Blazers edged the Bighorn Bison, 3-2. Bloomington shortstop Adam Pappalardo stood apart with his performance. He was 2 for 2 with 2 singles. Bloomington pitcher Jason Skora got the win. He's now 6-2. Tatsuhi Naki was tagged with the loss. Randy Stucki recorded the save for Bloomington, his 5th of the season.
Floyd Barrett had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the fifth for Bloomington. With the bases loaded and the Blazers leading 2-0, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Bighorn manager Carlos Esparza. "We just didn't cash in."
The Blazers are now 56-37, while the Bison fall to 40-53.
