Runs were scarce at Classified Field.

Ismael Gomez pitched well, but the Rockville Rangers still fell short, losing, 2-1, to the Rosewell Tribbles at Classified Field. The third-place Tribbles hiked their record to 58-29.

Rosewell took the lead, 2-1, on Brian Reams's 9th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Rockville pitcher Ismael Gomez in the bottom of the seventh.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Rosewell skipper Leonel Alba.
