The Fighting Iguanas had to overcome a good performance from Wichita pitcher Josh McGrath to claim a 5-3 win at Scripps Field. McGrath went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Boca Raton has now won 3 in a row.

Boca Raton took a 5-3 lead on Willie Pelay's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run came off Wichita pitcher Alan Weston in the bottom of the ninth.
