Perez Shines in 11-3 Thunder Bay Win
The first-place Thunder Bay Lighting picked up another win.

The Thunder Bay Lighting handed the Brooklyn Cyclones a sound defeat, 11-3, at Lightning Grove. Roberto Perez, who is tied for 10th in the RR in hits with 79, was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Thunder Bay. The first-place Lighting now have a record of 57-17.

Antonio Vasquez, who is rated as the 65th best prospect by BNN, chipped in a 3-run home run for Thunder Bay in the bottom of the second. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Lighting manager Masamune Fujimoto.
