David Espinoza, who is a two-time All-Star, had a strong outing for the Pennsylvania Butterflies against the Houghton Gremlins at Golden Goebels Park. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Pennsylvania reliever Steve Marasco was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Luis Moreno. Jason Phillips earned save number 22 this season.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Miguel Lopez came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Houghton pitcher Chris Wethington, he hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Pennsylvania on top, 3-1.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Lopez.

The win makes Pennsylvania 50-30.
