The Stinging right fielder Ted Marshall had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Brooklyn Cyclones, 17-8. The win gives the Larvae a record of 26-58.

Aaron Williams had a big grand slam home run for the Larvae in the bottom of the second inning. With The Stinging trailing 2-1 and the bases loaded, he sized up a knuckle curve from Jorge Torres, who is tied for 10th in the RR with a 10.8 K/9 rate, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Larvae on top, 5-2.

"I'm proud of the boys for pulling through," said Larvae manager Jose Correa. "The wins don't come easy for this team, but everyone's got an extra jump in their step after a game like this."
