Fading Mooses Lose 7th Straight
The Lighting grabbed a win, 4-0, at Moose Head Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Manchester pitcher Luppe Frijters. Frijters went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Bobby Kolar closed it out for his 18th save. The losses continue to mount for Manchester, which has now dropped 7 in a row.

Juan Griego came through with a big-time hit for Thunder Bay. The center fielder smacked a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I know everybody in here is putting in the work," said Manchester manager . "It's just not paying off."
