The Caribbean-Prince George matchup turned into a real hit parade.

The Caribbean Commies outscored the Prince George Cougars, 17-10. Mark dejong led the way, going 4-for-4 for Caribbean. Caribbean reliever Lorenzo Rodriguez picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Danny Mejia was saddled with the loss.

Rafael Leon chipped in a grand slam home run for Caribbean in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 5 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 4 RBI.

Commies manager Atamas Manas wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."

The 6th-place Commies improved to 28-40.
